Many members started as beginners or picked tennis back up after years away. Others seek authentic skilled competition. Wherever you are on your tennis journey, you'll find courts available when you want them, partners at your level, and helpful instruction. ## Engage at Any Level Access courts across five surfaces—grass, clay, Har-Tru, and synthetic grass—each offering different playing experiences and challenges. ![start from zero](https://thewestsidetennisclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images/on-page/start%20from%20zero.webp?width=650&height=365&name=start%20from%20zero.webp) ### Starting From Zero Never held a racquet? Our pros start every beginner with a low-stakes evaluation to find your starting point, then build from there in year-round clinics designed for first-time adult players. ![build your game2](https://thewestsidetennisclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images/on-page/build%20your%20game2.webp?width=650&height=365&name=build%20your%20game2.webp) ### Building Your Game Play regularly at the 3.0-4.0 level without intense pressure. Book courts online whenever your schedule allows. Join weekly mixers that match you with compatible partners. Take lessons with pros like Amaury Piantini and Kayyam Naj, who work one-on-one on the parts of your game that need it most. ![competitive play](https://thewestsidetennisclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images/on-page/competitive%20play.webp?width=650&height=366&name=competitive%20play.webp) ### Playing Competitively Test yourself in club tournaments and leagues. Practice on the same grass courts that hosted U.S. Open champions. Find partners who push your game forward. Six courts stay lit until 10 p.m., so evening matches don't have to race the sunset. ## Grow Your Kids’ Passion For The Game Our Junior Program welcomes beginners learning proper technique and advanced players training for tournaments. We use age-appropriate equipment—foam balls for the youngest players, specialized low-compression balls as they develop, and regulation balls when they're ready. Whether your child dreams of playing in high school or simply wants to stay active with friends, they'll find their place here. Programs run year-round with summer camps that keep kids engaged when school's out. The smaller court and lower net make it accessible for tennis players adapting their skills. Most members discover platform through social events, then get hooked on the winter competition. ![pickle-ball](https://thewestsidetennisclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images/on-page/pickle-ball.webp?width=1000&height=563&name=pickle-ball.webp) ### Pickleball: Easy to Learn, Hard to Master Start playing within minutes on two courts. The smaller court and slower pace make pickleball perfect for testing your reflexes without the physical demands of tennis. Join drop-in games where you'll meet members of all ages. ![Padel](https://thewestsidetennisclub.com/hs-fs/hubfs/images/on-page/Padel.webp?width=1000&height=563&name=Padel.webp) ### Padel: A Different Game, A Familiar Feel Play in doubles on an enclosed glass court, where the walls keep the ball live and new strategies emerge. In padel, there’s no overhead serve, the turf is easier on the joints, and you need four to play, so there's always a reason to pull someone in. Tennis players tend to feel at home, and it’s a quick learn for those picking up a racquet or padel for the first time. ## Play All Year Long Ten of our 38 courts play year-round under climate control, so the doubles partner you found in June is still your Wednesday night game in February. Book morning matches before work, fit in a lesson after the kids are asleep, and join winter clinics built to sharpen your game. The courts underneath have been rebuilt from the ground up—new drainage, new surfaces, new infrastructure—so the game stays the same whatever the season. ## See Where You'll Play Tour our courts and watch members at every level enjoying the game.
